Using Transfer Account

1. When you first enter into this option, the following message appears on the screen:

"This is a utility program that allows you to transfer ACCOUNT information from one account to another. Both accounts must exist in the system prior to using this utility. You may enter account transfers at any point during the day. Enter all transfers in the order in which you want them to occur. The actual updating of all files will occur after all other end of day processing has been completed. After transferring all information to the new account, the old account will be deleted."

2. Simultaneously, aSelect An Option window appears and displays the following choices: EXIT, ADD, and PRINT LIST. A listing of transfers entered earlier in the day will also appear.

• If you select EXIT, the system will leave this option.
• If you select ADD, the system will allow you to enter an account to transfer. Use the fields below to specify the transfer:
  • OLD ACCOUNT – Enter the account ID (number) you want to transfer.
  • NEW ACCOUNT – Enter the account ID (number) you want to transfer the old record to.

  The name of both accounts will display and command options will appear:

  • Select Add to save the transfer of account information.
  • Select Exit to exit without saving the transfer.
• If you select PRINT LIST, the system will print a list of all account transfers waiting to be processed.
• If you select one of the listed account history transfers, command options will appear: Delete and Exit.
  • If you select Delete, the system will delete the specified transfer.
  • If you select Exit, the system will return to the OLD ACCOUNT field.
